Hey there, I'm Will.

I'm an animator/filmmaker from Chicago.

Whew, thank god that's over, like most people, I'm not very sure on how to introduce myself so maybe I should start with something like why I joined Newgrounds. Honestly, I just wanted to be surrounded by some peers (other animators and creators). I don't have a lot of friends who do what I do, and this was my attempt to toss my voice into the void of the internet again and see if anything would bounce back. I used to be on Newgrounds a lot in high school and college, but stopped when I lost access to a home computer. I also wasn't an animator or film maker at the time. I was just a dirty skateboarder trying to "make it" in California.

I knew a little photoshop, which floated me for a while. I was interested in making comic-books and worked freelance making posters for live shows.

After being homeless briefly, I was able to snag a part-time job making ads and designs for a comedy theater while also working at a pizza shop, this is where a friend introduced me to after effects. I was obsessed with it and spent every moment I could practicing. I had done a little 2d and stop-motion animation in the past and also loved Terry Gilliam.

From that I was lucky enough to land temp-jobs with some YouTube Channels. Now I cut podcasts which, don't get me wrong, is amazing but not the thing I love. Animating is the thing I love. Making films is the thing I love. I think about it 24/7, I practice constantly and I'm always trying to find ways to combine skills that I learn into a fun new visual way to tell a story. I hope you enjoy what I come up with, and I can't wait to see what you've made as well.
